Senior Project in Digital Media is the capstone course for the Integrated Design and Media program. Students research, develop, test and document a semester-long creative work, mirroring the creative process that professional artists, designers, creative technologists, and entrepreneurs practice throughout their careers.

ASSIGNMENTS

You to work on your senior project every week and document your process on a website or blog. From week 4 onwards, part of this work should be making something each week that relates to your project. Weekly submissions via the Weekly Work Submission Form.

Homework exercises are due throughout semester to help you reflect on your process. See descriptions.

  • Project Brief
  • Weight: 10%
  • Concept description, background research, timeline, and work plan. Presented in class in Week 4 and updated throughout the semester.

    In-progress project demo with invited guests, critique participation, and self-assessment.

    Final project presentation and critique. Participation in IDM Showcase.

    Complete project documentation, project website, and final self-assessments.
